The mission:
To turn holiday burdens into holiday joy for single parents and their children by providing toys and food for 500 children.
The method:
Single parents can shop for Christmas toys for their children ages 5-12 at NO COST to them.
Last Christmas:
- Provided quality NEW toys and food
- Served approximately 350 children from Title 1 schools in Charlotte.
- Distributed 4500 toys valued at over $67,000.
- 48 volunteers and 282 volunteer hours.
The Need:
$200 per family will provide toys and food. Most of all, it will bring relief and hope to families and children who need it most.
