The Restoration Place Church
The mission:
To turn holiday burdens into holiday joy for single parents and their children by providing toys and food for 500 children.
The method:
Single parents and their children (grades K through 8) can shop for Christmas toys and food at NO COST to them.
Last Christmas:
– Provided quality toys, food, and winter clothes essentials.
– Served approximately 300 children from Title 1 schools in Charlotte.
– Distributed 4,000 toys valued at over $50,000.
– 37 volunteers and 316 volunteer hours.
The Need:
We need a minimum of $100,000 or donations of gifts-in-kind.
$200 per family will provide toys and food. Most of all, it will bring relief and hope to families and children who need it most.
